Our Collection
Our collection is always growing. Fiction, nonfiction, movies and audio books for youth, teens and adults. Get your own library card and “Check it out.”
Kids
We are an official Family Place library with endless opportunities for fun and learning. We offer many programs for ages 0-18. Our space is designed for babies, toddlers and preschoolers to interact, explore, play and learn with their grown-ups.
Teens
Gamer Nights, Teen Reading Lounge and artistic programs. Y-A books, graphic novels and anime. Not to mention free homework printing, homework help (Tutor.com), movies, and educational resources.
Adults
Free computer access and classes, low cost printing and faxing, as well as book clubs, art classes, community projects, and more. Come see for yourself all we have to offer.

In partnership with eBranch2Go (Overdrive), Priestley-Forsyth Memorial Library offers a vast selection of e-books for download to your Kindle, Nook or e-reader.
To log into Overdrive be sure to call the library at 570-473-8201 so that we can add your library card number to the Overdrive database.
Click the link below to go to Overdrive, then:
- Click on the Libby icon on the bottom of the page.
- Click Add Library.
- Enter your library card number without the zeros.

- Clicking on the event often brings up more detailed information.

Power Library includes many resources for all ages. Ebooks, research, articles, essays and more; there are many options for a growing mind.
BookFLIX is an online literacy resource for children in grades Pre K-3. It is made to help early readers develop and practice essential reading skills and introduces students to a world of knowledge and exploration.
Mango Languages creates lovable language-learning experiences for libraries, schools, corporations, government agencies, and individuals. What brings us all together: our love for language and culture learning and sharing that love with the world.
