The street will be blocked off, and trucks will line up on both sides of the King Street Park outside the library!

It’s your chance to get up close and personal with trucks, emergency vehicles, construction vehicles and more!  Join us in King Street Park to meet local transportation professionals, have some fun, and kick off summer!

Make sure you bring your camera for multiple mini-photo ops. 

Some of the trucks and equipment you can touch:

  • There will be two dump trucks
  • A Kenworth with a sleeper cab
  • Several fire trucks, including a hook and ladder, and rescue truck
  • Rail riders from North Shore Railroad
  • Ice cream truck from Heeter’s
  • A Cement Mixer from Central Builders
  • Trucks from Furman’s
  • The Borough will bring a Bucket Truck
  • Sewer Authority Vehicle

  • The #1’s will have hot dogs and fish sandwiches for sale.
  • Kard building from Kardtechs.
  • Attinger Brothers Band
  • Northumberland Area Head Start
  • St. John’s Nursery School
  • The Parent Center
  • Story Time in the Park. David will be reading Number One Sam, this year’s PA One Book.
    • All children attending will receive a copy
