Summer Reading Programs are coming up fast, so be sure to sign up at the library.
This year’s theme is “Every Hero Has a Story!”
First, for the Big Kids:
School Age Summer Reading begins Monday, June 15th at 1:00 pm, and is for youth who have completed Kindergarten through Fifth Grade. See our Calendar for all the times and dates.
Each week a theme will be selected by Youth Services Staff and activities, projects, or special guests will be part of the summer long program. Adults do not need to accompany children. Sign up is not limited but an adult does need to complete an on line or paper registration form.
For the Wee Ones:
Wee ones Summer Reading is for Ages Birth to Age Five, and begins on Wednesday, June 17th at 10:30 am.
During the summer we think it is fun to have all children and their caregivers together. Our Wednesday programs will be structured around the summer reading theme of “Heroes”, just like the school age program.
Age appropriate books, music, and activities will be part of each weekly session. Sign ups are required, so we ask you to register with a paper form or online.
We look forward to seeing many Heroes this summer!
