The Board of Trustees and Staff of the Priestley-Forsyth Memorial Library would like to thank you for your continued support of the Library.

The Priestley-Forsyth Memorial Library depends upon the generosity of our community.There are a number of ways listed below to support the library.

  • Derby Day Auction (May)
    The Library’s principal fundraiser is the Annual Derby Day Auction occurring on the same day as the Kentucky Derby each year. The Derby Day Auction has been an annual event at the Library for twenty years. Usually, the first Saturday of May. The 21st Derby Day Auction will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2013.  If you would like to donate an item for the next auction, please contact the library.

  • Memorial Gifts
    The Library’s Memorial Book Program offers you an opportunity to honor the memory of friends or relatives by donating a book to the collection of the library.  You may specify a subject area or library staff will select a book in an area of need of new materials.  Your gift book will bear a bookplate naming the donor and the person memorialized.  Letters of acknowledgment and appreciation will be sent to both the donor and family of the person who is being honored.   • Annual Book Sale
    The book sale  is a major part of our fund raising effort thanks to the generous donations of books from the community and the support of visitors who purchase items in the book sale. Please donate your unwanted books, DVDs & CDs. Donations for the annual sale are gratefully accepted at any time. Please no textbooks, encyclopedias, magazines, outdated computer or travel books or moldy oldies.

The Library is an agency of the Greater Susquehanna United Way. Supporting the United Way supports the Priestley-Forsyth Memorial Library.
